What To Expect

Nutrition After Dark is like no other Nutritional program you have seen before. This program works specifically with altered circadian rhythms and a digestive tract health, aiming to educate its users on how we can use natural, healthy foods in rhythm with our circadian cycles.

Working outside the 9-5 can be difficult & frustrating especially when it comes to when and what to eat. This program will not only teach you about holistic foods & lifestyle, timing of meals & sleep techniques but also what to look out for with common symptoms of circadian disruption like indigestion, weight gain, IBS & more.

From this program, you can expect: education on holistic foods, healthy plant based meal plans and curated recipes for your any allergies or sensitivities, lifestyle suggestions, sleep aid & so much more. . .

This is much more than your average diet, this is a life long commitment to your health, your workplace & your happiness.

A Word from Kristen

Having worked as a nurse on night shifts for over 5 years, I know what it feels like to work from 7pm-7am running on nothing but donuts & red bull. Looking back on the years of doing anything it took to stay awake, I really wish that there was a program out there like Somni to help me navigate the confusing world of eating at 3am. This lack of nutritional programs for shift workers really ended up being my call to action to help not only myself but others who are feeling the same way.

To start I want to be very clear - I am not here to tell you what you should eat. We are all responsible adults making our own decisions. I am here to help you with questions, to guide you through any food confusion and to educate you on the ins & outs of a holistic approach to health especially if you are just starting on night shifts

Everyone experiences night shifts differently having both the good days and bad. My goal is to not only help you through the bad days but also instil confidence in knowing that you are making educated decisions and not blind choices.

Whether you are new to night shifts or have been working them for years, working nights has been clinically proven to cause many different health concerns and can lead to long term illnesses. We have suffer from intense cravings, fatigue, unexplained weight gain & to top it off, have trouble sleeping.

If any of this sounds familiar, I would love to work with you.

Nutrition after Dark navigates through all avenues of holistic health from Western Medicine to Ayurvedic Practices & Chinese Medicine providing you with the most nutritionally dense, tasty & easy to digest nutrition plans individually created for your unique night shift needs.
